Spyrou Philoxenia in international tourist exhibitions in Israel, Serbia and Germany

Spyrou Philoxenia, a hotel management and consulting company, is actively involved in three particularly important International Tourism Exhibitions. The company was present at Tel Aviv IMTM 2018, and is expected to participate in ITTFA , that will take place at Belgrade as well as in ITB which will take place in Berlin.

The 24th International Tourism Fair "IMTM 2018" in Tel Aviv was also the epicenter of the tourist B2B sector. The largest tourism fair in Israel was held on 6-7 February 2018 and attracted a large number of corporate visitors, enabling business meetings between tourism executives. The aim was to highlight tourist destinations and promote new forms of tourism. "Spyrou Philoxenia" participated in the exhibition within the Periphery of Thessaly, representing the privately owned hotels of the Spyrou group in Skopelos, as well as the numerous  lodgings it manages all over Greece with the aim of promoting them on the Israeli tourist market and attracting more visitors to unique locations in Greece.

In his statement, Mr. Giorgos Michalis, General Manager of Spyrou Hotels and Spyrou Philoxenia, who participated in Israel exhibition, said: "The economy of Israel, with its 8.5 million population is on the rise. Israeli citizens with $ 35,000 annual income are willing to travel and create life experiences. Greece has a unique opportunity of awareness, branding  and ultimately conquering this market. The  international circumstances favor us in particular. All three days of intensive work in Tel Aviv, we only received positive impressions and the Greek stand with the Cypriot’s one held the greatest visibility. Spyrou Philoxenia's hotels were at the epicenter of interest, especially for alternative forms of tourism, 12 months a year. "

Τhere are two more important exhibitions that Spyrou Hotels and Spyrou Philoxenia will be participating dynamically, enhancing their partnerships and promoting the attractive Greek tourist destinations and co-operative hotels. Their second visit will take place at ITTFA in Belgrade on 22-25 February and aims to attract the interest of Serbian visitors both in the region of Thessaly and other interesting destinations in Greece.

They will continue their presence at the ITB International Tourism Fair in Berlin on 7-10 March, where a big amount of visitors is expected to gather from the international tourism market.
