Voyages to Antiquity: Greece highlighted in 2017 cruise-tour programmeGreek ports are among the 30 new ports of call featured in the new 2017 cruise-tour programme from Voyages to Antiquity

Greek ports are among the 30 new ports of call including Reykjavik (Iceland) and Cork (Ireland), along with dedicated no-fly cruising from the UK will all feature in the new 2017 cruise-tour programme from Voyages to Antiquity. With 17 new itineraries on offer and maiden visits to the Orkney and Shetland Islands, Iceland and Olbia in Sardinia, the 2017 range of sailings will be the cruise lines first dedicated European programme and marks the first time that the cruise line has offered dedicated no fly cruising from the UK.

The 18-day ‘Ancient Greece, Sicily and Spain’ cruise departs from Athens (Greece) following a two-night hotel stay and calls at Santorini (Greek Islands), Heraklion (Crete, Knossos), Valetta (Malta), Palermo (Sicily), Trapani (Sicily), Cartagena (Spain), Malaga (Spain), Cadiz (Spain) to cruise along the Guadalquivir River and Seville (Spain) where guests disembark the ship for a two night hotel stay in Seville (Spain) before heading to the airport for the flight home. The cruise is priced from £2,695 per person, based on 16 October 2017 departure in a standard inside cabin. Price includes return flights, the 18-day cruise, all meals and drinks with dinner onboard, guest speakers onboard, and around 14 shore excursions

The new sailings will go on sale at 9am on Monday 4 April 2016.

Voyages to Antiquity is offering savings of up to £1,400 per cabin and a 10 per cent discount for all repeat cruisers for all 2017 bookings until the end of July 2016.

New range of destinations

The new range of destinations on offer include two overnight stays in Sorrento (Italy) and Marseilles (France) to really appreciate the ports of call. Mid-cruise land stays are available in Morocco, with river-cruising now included in Spain and France, allowing guests to explore more of these great destinations.

Jos Dewing, managing director, Voyages to Antiquity commented: “Having recently won two major industry awards I am very excited to announce, what we believe to be, our most exciting programme since our launch. Not only are we introducing many new and versatile ports of call but we also have our first ever no-fly cruises from the UK. The early demand for this new programme has been phenomenal and we anticipate some of these cruises to sell out quickly based on this demand.”

Guests can enjoy some of the world’s most beautiful ‘scenic coastal cruising’ around many of the most remote destinations in and around the UK and Iceland, including ‘Fingal’s Cave’ (Inner-Hebrides, Scotland), the Sound of Mull (Scotland) and Reykjavik (Iceland). Voyages to Antiquity’s ship – the Aegean Odyssey – will sail along the dramatic Amalfi Coast (Italy) and allow guests to enjoy the French Riviera and Capri (Italy).

Highlights of the 2017 programme include:
